The SoundGen collect data from several sources and mix all the audio signals according the the distance from the sound sources.
Each ship's type have its own sound, that is linked to the engine(s) type, the propeller type, and so on; therefore changing the vessel model will change all the lcharacteristics linked to that model, sound included.
The other target's noise is computed according the distance according a logaritmic scale, a "doppler effect" can be noted for very fast targets [for instance elicopters or jet airplanes].
The enviromental noise is created according scenario characteristics and updated in real-time according instructor settings.
Fog signals, being Own Ship Signals, targets signals or scenario signals [buoys/beacons/..] are audible according position and intensity.
